DESCRIPTION:CPHR Manitoba\,  in partnership with the Rainbow Resource Centre (RRC) invites you to attend a full-day training on Transgender and Gender Diverse Inclusive Workplaces. This training has taken place in Winnipeg and had very positive feedback. Due to popular request from Brandon-area HR professionals this event has been scheduled in your area!\n\nThe session will be divided into several parts that include policies\, inclusive practices\, processes\, education & compliance\, and updating personnel records.\n\nThis session will consist of the following desired learning outcomes:\n\n\n	Acquire basic human sexuality knowledge on gender\, gender identity\, and gender expression\n	Acquire basic understanding of the Manitoba Human Rights Act with regards to gender identity and gender expression as protected grounds from discrimination\n	Acquire knowledge on instituting and implementing appropriate protocols and practices that include: responsibilities and expectations of transitioning employees\, supervisors\, colleagues and support staff\n	Identify ways to incorporate education about gender identity and expression within diversity and equity training programs and workplace orientations\n	Identify ways to expand workplace policies that include access to gender-segregated spaces and dress codes
