DESCRIPTION:Leading Inclusion in the Workplace with Sean McEwen\n\n\n\n'Leading Inclusion' brings Employers and Employment Service Providers together to engage in shared learning around: \n\n\n\n1. The impacts of diversity and inclusion in the workplace - business case\n\n2. Disability as a diversity and inclusion 'capacity-builder' for inclusive workplaces\n\n\n\nThe Leading Inclusion workshop also facilitates transformative learning through engagement of participants in the identification and pursuit of collaborative\, action-oriented strategies to increase disability/ diversity confidence and workplace inclusion for all.  These workshops are not just valuable learning opportunities - they also provide resources and opportunity for Workplace Inclusion Partnerships between employers and service providers so that sustainable workforce strategies can be pursued\, supported and implemented to the mutual benefit of all participants. \n\n\n\nLearning Outcomes and Ongoing Benefits: \n\nService Providers: increase their capacity to serve job-seekers through facilitated dialogue with employers and workplace inclusion partnerships \n\n\n\nEmployers: receive information\, resources and direct support with diversity recruitment\, onboarding\, engagement and retention. Through this experiential learning and coaching\, employers increase knowledge and skill-sets around inclusion and workforce sustainability. \n\n\n\nAbout the Speaker: \n\nSean McEwen is a Workplace Diversity and Inclusion Consultant and a Director at RealEyes Capactiy Consultants.  RealEyes supports organizations to build cultural agility and workforce sustainability through diverse and inclusive workplaces that effectively leverage human capital and workplace culture.  \n\n   \n\nOver the past 22 years Sean has been designing and overseeing Employment Inclusion and Entrepreneurship services for people with disabilities while providing leadership and coaching to teams of career practitioners  serving job seekers and employers. \n\n\n\nSean's educational background is in Youth Services and Mental Health.  He is a certified Employment Specialist and has chaired the board of directors for both the Alberta Association for Supported Employment\, as well as the Canadian Association of Supported Employment.
