DESCRIPTION:The 38th Annual YMCA Spring Run will take place Sunday\, May 28\, 2017\n\nPledge Forms available: all pledge donations for the race will go to our Strong Kids Campaign\, thank you for your support.\n\n\n\nDistances: 1K fun run/walk\, 5K run/walk\, 10K run/walk\, 15K run\, 20K run\n\n\n\nMajor sponsors of the event:\n\n\n\nApex Facility Services\n\nWorld of Water\n\nDirect Traffic\n\nThe Phone Book Company\n\nMNP\n\nSargent Lock & Safe\n\nStart Time\n\n...\n\nStart time is 8:00 am for all distances except the 1 km Fun Run/Walk which begins at 10:30 am.\n\n\n\nParking available in the YMCA lot\, McDiarmid building lot\, Rolling Spokes\, Manitoba Hydro (9th street)\, and street parking. Please NO PARKING on the RACE ROUTE.\n\n\n\nPlease pre-register. Register ONLINE or in person at the YMCA.\n\n\n\nVolunteers are needed for this year's event. We are looking for people to help with:\n\n\n\nEvent Set Up\n\nWater Stations\n\nRoute Marshalling\n\nTraffic Control\n\nPlease contact Steven at the YMCA if you are able to help out.\n\nsteven.dyce@ymcabrandon.com\, or 204-727-5456\, ext 116\n\n\n\nPre-Race Event\n\n\n\nThe Brandon Prairie Pride Lion's Club\, Brandon Chef's Association and Crocus Plains Culinary Arts will host the Pre-Race Pasta Dinner on Saturday\, May 27th from 5:00   7:00 pm at Prairie Oasis Seniors' Centre (next to the YMCA).\n\n\n\nAdults $10\, under 12 yrs $5.
